About the Owner

Mother of two boys. Sean age 13 and Shamir age 11. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio swim competitively on swim team for the city of Cleveland as well high school. Got into aquatics by becoming a lifeguard at the age of 15 years old. 

Since 2014 has dedicated to creating a safe and fun environment for children to learn and grow in their swimming abilities no matter the schedule. Her experience includes over 20 years as an aquatics. Lifeguard, manager, swim instructor include a lifeguard instructor. She owes all her experience to the City Of Cleveland, Shaker, Macedonia. In 2013, in realizing that her full potential was teaching swimming at Goldfish Swim School(thank you to the owners). Taking that full potential a growing it for 8 years at Mandel Jcc.
In the summer of 2014 Swim Baby Swim was just a name. Traveling to home pools and teaching for two years to officially renting out and starting her first location that was Hathaway Brown School in 2016. This journey has not been easy, she move the programing to Hawken Lower school and during Covid her own backyard pool, after Covid back at Hawken this time the  Upper school. Now finally in her community at the Warrensville Heights Recreation Center. Due to Warrensville's closure due to extended construction. Simone is back at Hawken Upper as well as Solon Rec center. Swim Baby Swim also have satellite locations in Texas and in South Carolina. 

Her certificates are accredited by the American Red Cross, Starguard, and USA swimming. Currently she's working on Master swim coach license as well as her ISR certification. She currently works as needed for area hospitals in the on the inpatient units as a hospital unit coordinator as well in the emergency room as a technician. She learned how to swim at the age of one at the local YMCA because her own family believe that water safety was key at early age. 

She loves teaching all children that includes ages 2 months-17 years. Her specialty is mom and baby classes, gentle infant survival, and toddler classes. She would say her favorite are the toddlers because "they put up a good fight".
